Metropolitan Photobooth Privacy Policy

Overview

Metropolitan Photobooth is designed to be privacy-friendly. This page explains what data is collected and how it is used.

What we collect

By default, the app only accesses the camera and the device storage when you explicitly take photos and choose to save them. We do not collect personal data unless you enable sharing features. When analytics are enabled, only anonymized usage events may be sent to improve the app.

Photos

Photos you take are saved to your device. The app does not upload them anywhere by default. If you share or export a photo, your device's share sheet will handle the transfer.

Analytics

If enabled, analytics only record anonymized events (screen views, button presses, errors) to help us improve the app. We don't collect names, contacts, or identifiable device IDs.

Permissions

The app requests camera and storage permissions only when needed. You can revoke those permissions at any time via your device settings.

Third-party services

The app may use third-party libraries for analytics or image processing. Those services are used to provide functionality and are chosen for minimal data collection. Consult each library's documentation for details.

Children's Privacy

Metropolitan Photobooth does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us to have it removed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Contact

If you have privacy concerns or requests (data deletion, questions), please contact the developer at the app's support page.
